Aberdeen entities honored

Each October, in observation of National Disability Employment Awareness Month, the Mayor¿s Advisory Committee for People with Disabilities recognizes businesses for the opportunities they provide and individuals for their achievements. This year's awards were presented by Aberdeen Mayor Mike Levsen during a luncheon on Oct. 11. From left are: Levsen; Tyler Flitter ¿ Outstanding Employee of the Year; Marla Imberi-Blake of Kesslers Inc. ¿ Outstanding Employer of the Year (Large Business); Lindsay O'Hara, NSU graduate ¿ Educational Enhancement Award; Josh Johnson and Adam Christenson ¿ Outstanding Employer of the Year, Qdoba (Small Business); and Brett Bill and Chad Nilson of Aberdeen Planning, Zoning and Code Enforcement ¿ Distinguished Service Award.
